Harry Gets Black Belt!

Hi Folks. Well I knew that it would happen one day, it was just a matter of time.

When Harry first joined the Buntingford Karate Club he took his training very very seriously and was constantly asking me “when can I take my next grading?” so that I had to rein him in a bit. Harry also joined a local Tae Kwon Do club and I was a bit worried that he might suffer from the two similar yet different disciplines. This fear however proved to be unfounded as he drew inspiration from both Martial Arts.

Harry has now taken a number of training sessions and exercise warm-ups. He never fails to support the club, turning out for advertising stunts and displays. He helps the lower grades and is about to try and raise money for charity by attempting to swim the Channel by representing this distance in the local swimming pool (see link on our front/home page).

It was with great delight that I decided to award him with his Black Belt tonight (17th November) and his fellow Karate-Ka were also very much delighted for him. This brings the total of Black Belts in the Buntingford Karate club to NINE.
