New Grading Successes!

So, two members of our Buntingford Karate Club took their gradings recently at opposite ends of the grading spectrum. Rick has been with us a good while and went for his 3rd Kyu (first Brown belt) and Stuart went for his 9th Kyu (first coloured belt – Red).

They both gave exemplary performances and passed with good grading scores with Rick narrowly missing out on a double grade. However, as he gave such a good account of himself I have told him that if he learns Bassai Dai in three months then I will grade him at the end of three months instead of the usual six.
