Finn gets his Brown Belt

Hi All. A couple of months ago Finn took and gained his 4th Kyu grade (Purple with one white stripe) with the Buntingford Karate Club. I told him when he passed that he put in such an excellent performance and had applied himself so well to his karate that it would not be long before he took his brown belt grading. So, last night was the night!

Our brown belt grading consists of the usual Kihon, kata and kumite, but we also throw in a work-out on a kick-bag to assess power.

A perfect score is 10/10 and I am pleased to say that Finn got three 9/10s for the three disciplines mentioned above.
